London and Birmingham are Britain’s two big debt hot spots when it comes to loans for people with poor credit.

As the Credit Crunch gets worse, Credit Problems No Problem is seeing growing demand for fast unsecured loans from families across the UK.
Debt consolidation, home improvements, holidays and weddings are the most popular reasons cited by people with adverse credit seeking easy unsecured loans.
The new research from Credit Problems No Problem reveals that:
Northerners and Midlanders are collectively three times more likely than Southerners to apply for an unsecured loan for debt consolidation
Southerners are 50 per cent more than likely than Northerners to need an unsecured loan to finance home improvements
one-third more Northerners than Southerners require an unsecured loan to help them purchase their car.
However, some cash-strapped families are having to apply for unsecured tenant loans simply to pay their rent arrears.
“Borrowers are applying to us from across the UK but our research clearly demonstrates that there are concentrations of demand in London, the Midlands, North West and Wales,” said a spokesman for Credit Problems No Problem, which helps people with credit histories impaired by CCJs and defaults to source simple, fuss-free unsecured loans.
