Orion Health Announces New Marketing Leadership; Christopher Ward Joins as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing

Mr. Ward has 14 years of marketing and healthcare experience and most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for GE Healthcare’s IT business. Ward will oversee the development and management of marketing efforts to continue the company’s drive toward delivering innovative HIE and Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions and supporting Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) in continuing their goal of improved coordination and quality of care.

Mr. Ward recently worked for General Electric’s $ 17B healthcare division where he helped lead much of the business unit’s marketing transformation, beginning in 2003. Most recently, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer for its EMR, PACS and IT product lines. He led marketing operations for 1,700 employees globally to include all functional learning and development. Mr. Ward also created and led the marketing research department for the $ 3.5B US radiology business unit and producing an 11 percent increase in sales win rates.
